Chinese ATV 49cc (FUXIN ATV50) No start and no spark

Ok so I picked up this Chinese atv from a guy that said the way to get it running was to hook the green wire up to the red wire... (The ignition switch was cut off) I chose not to do this and purchased a new 4 wire ignition switch that plugged right in. I put new gas in it and it has a brand new spark plug. I cannot get it to turn over by the starter button switch. I pulled the starter out and took it to someone that is able to test these. He said it was definitely a bad starter. I purchased a new starter and put it in. (I know this is good bc i hooked up power and ground to it and it kicks on) Still i have nothing coming from the starter button. The previous owner did something horrid to this thing bc the wiring is all kinds of a mess. The only way I can even get this atv to turn over is to jump the terminals on the starter solenoid and it turns over. I just have absolutely no spark. OMHed the ignition coil and i'm getting 9.6 at 200k. I did take the CDI box off and took it down to a guy who fixes these and he tried it on one of his brand new atvs that run and he had no spark. I bought a new cdi box and have yet to install it... this things is a wiring nightmare. im afraid to plug the new stuff in because it may fry it. The atv does have a remote box but the red wire going into it has been burnt of from the looks of it...

any advice would be awesome...

it does have the 5 wire cdi system and i can take more pics to show you whats going on... any good wiring diagrams would be awesome... how do you test the stator?
