Chat rooms and forums appear to cover every organization, on line service, product and every part of our culture. There is always a solid core of devoted people looking for something to complain about. The fascinating truth is that the people on these forums aren’t doing their best work. They rarely identify any useful feedback or pinpoint any elements that could be changed. It’s just like the Scotsman’s t-shirt that proclaims  “ If It’s Nae Scottish It’s Crap”  We all know that you just have to put whiners OEM brand into that statement to understand the point. If you solved whatever problem they’re whining about, they wouldn’t suddenly become enthusiastic contributors. No, they are just enjoying their rant and also enjoying the support of a few others that join in.

110cc ATV’s can be bought for around $500.00 and a 250cc for under $2000.00 This has created the new entry points and prices to the sport. Equivalent sized OEM units are up to 6 times the cost. This much lower entry point price has drastically increased the number of youth riders to the sport. This is great for the sport and for the businesses that service them.  Riders that embrace and have fun with the sport stand a good chance of doing it for a lifetime. That 110cc and 250cc unit has been built with a very reliable engine. It is some of the surrounding parts that have created some issues.
Keep this new young generation of riders on the trails by working on these units. If you ignore them they will soon find other hobbies to fill their leisure time. It might be riding similar units but sat on their couch fuelled by a Sony Playstation in front of a Big Ass TV. Keep them happy and on the trails.

Interesting that most people on this site are programed to "read only" No sign of a challenge or agreeing with what was said in a post. Is this a sign of how our sport is going........who cares if it goes the way of the Doh Doh. 50% of our dealers have gone and prices of OEM products is not stopping that trend. Suzuki has down sized it's North American profile. Who is next. Will your kids be able to afford that $20,000.00 Harley or is it only the present Baby Boomer generation that is quickly getting to old to ride.
Interesting times.
