roketa 250cc spark problem

I have a Roketa 250cc atv when I got it there was no spark I checked my oil level and it was low knowing what I do about low oil shut downs I filled it and walaa nice bright spark I then took the carb off to clean it up before even trying to run it as it has been sitting awhile after putting the carb back on I lost my nice bright spark while its turning over but as I let off the starter button I get a spark or 2 every time I know this is a issue I had in the past on another china quad but I cannot remember what I did to fix it any ideas thanks
