Big bear starter button not working

The starter button will not engage the starter. I have replaced the solenoid and still same. It isn't the kill switch because I can start it jumping the solenoid and the switch will shut the machine off. The starter works fine when I jump the solenoid. The starter switch has voltage when the button isn't pushed and loses it when the button is pushed. The oil light comes on when the button is pushed too. If someone has any clue as to what this could be, please email.

simple stuff first yeah, i'm sure you checked already....but to be sure.
charge the battery. unplug the cdi connector and make sure there is no mud or water in there.
could be a bad start switch or a bad brake light switch. or as simple as a bad connection at the battery
