Hello I'm new here and have looked at this site for what i am having trouble with and can not find it.

I was giving this 4 wheeler that has barly been rode. I cleaned out the bad gas and put new battery in it. pulled choke and finally started but run like crap and will not idle. I got to looking around and it has no air cleaner on it. I found the place where the filter gose but no hose between crab and box.

Where can I found that hose, or can I just put on a after market filter.

I got want to have to rejet or and pipe.

thanks for helping

after playing around with it. it runs better if i put my hand over the carb where the filter gose. so is there a air leak.

Just eliminate the air box and put a pod style filter on the carb.  You may still have some varnish or debris in the small passages of the carb as well so a good dipping in carburetor cleaner may be needed.  Just measure the bell end of the carb and order the one that fits that size.

something like this, just don't forget to oil it.

Ok guys I took carb back off and the pilot jet was blocked. drilled it out and it started right up and idles good. The only prob is that it dont run all that great and really has no power. maybe I am just asking to much for a 110cc.

Well you should not have drilled the pilot jet out, you now have altered the jetting.  The 110cc engines are not that powerfull especially the semi auto clutch engines.

OK sorry said that wrong I just took a very small drill bit that was smaller then the hole in the jet and drilled the junk out. Never drilled the brass.

The 110cc quad I have is a 3 speed with rev. Is it possable that the vales might need adjusting. this quad only has 5 to 6 hours but im sure they are HARD hours.
