I broke my ATV-help from the veterens

I bought a used 92 polaris trail boss 250 4X4 2 cycle [I'm a rookie] and had been enjoying riding it and inventing new ways to hurt myself.I was riding it every weekend,until a couple of weeks ago.I rode it with no problems that weekend [it ran fine] ,brought it home and put it up.The next weekend i went out to ride and it wouldn't fire.I checked for spark,it's getting gas,and the compression is about 93 to 95.I bought a new plug and changed it out,because of some of the posts i had seen here,but with no change.I'd appreciate any info or comments that could be thrown my way.I don't know much about atv's,i'm learning as i go.[I MISS MY LITTLE MUD SLINGER}  

So how was the spark? I would also make sure it's getting gas by pouring around a teaspoonfull of fuel into the cylinder and then trying to start it. The compression sounds okay to me.
