Looking to buy...

I was thinking about buying a Suzuki Ozark 250 ATV in Kansas City but am not sure about that particular model. I know that I definitely want to buy local, it's easier for me to SEE the item (and fall in love with it) before I buy it. The hesitation, I think, comes from thinking that it might be a "low end" model (based simply on price) but I really don't know anything about the brand. I know I could look at reviews from the manufacturer but I feel like, more often than not, those are really bias....Hence the reason I joined this forum! I figured real life input was the best thing I could get. Any advice on a great ATV for a beginner would be g-r-e-a-t. TIA.

suzuki is a good atv, though i have seen many with minor issues. Here's my opinion. if iam buying a 2 stroke sport atv i buy a yamaha, if iam buying a 4 cycle sport atv, i buy either a suzuki or a Honda..(honda being my first choice) If iam buying a 4 cycle utility style atv i buy a honda. Honda won me over years ago with their fourtrax line. i have owned several of them with very few problems with them. including a 1986 trx250 fourtrax that was running well when i sold it last year. Honda utility atv's are bullet proof! change the oil and filter and you can give them to your grandkids!!! they absolutely last!
