I KNOW THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR THIS BUT I NEED HELP. I HAVE A OLDER YAMAHA 90 CC DIRT BIKE THAT I CAN'T GET IT TO IDLE. I REPLACED THE THROTTLE CABLE, LUBED THE SLIDE FOR THE THROTTLE, CHOKE AS IT WAS STICKING. i CONSTSNTLY HAVE TO APPLY THE THROTTLE FOR IT TO IDLE, BUT THEN THE IDLE IS TO HIGH.
I HAVE CLEANED THE CARB AND I BELEIVE THAT THERE IS NO BINDING IN THE THROTTLE CABLE FOR IT TO IDLE TO HIGH.

COULD A VACUME LEAK WHERE THE CARB MEETS THE INTAKE CAUSE IT NOT TO IDLE.
THERE ARE 2 ADJUSTMENTS ON THE CARB. 1 ON THE AIR SIDE ANS 1 ON THE FULE SIDE OF THE CARB. WHAT SHOULD THE SETTINGS BE AS FAR AS HOWM MANY TURNS OUT SHOULD THEY BE.

ANY SUGGESTIONS

it sounds like the pilot jet is clogged up.

sometimes even if you clean it out there can be a little debris that was missed that cloggs it right back up.

since the pilot jet controls idle i would start there before turning the fuel/air mixture screw.
