2002 Polaris Sportsman 700 won't go into gear...HELP PLEASE!!

I have a 2002 Polaris Sportsman 700. I had to just jump start it tonight as it has been in the barn all winter. It started fine, but I shift it into gear, which displays on the speedometer, but the bike won't move. This is the first time this bike has ever done this.
If anyone can help me with this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

is it going into gear but not ,moving?
or not taking gear at all?
if it is going in but not moving then most likely you need to remove the pvt clutch cover and oil down the pvt clutch fingers.
also check the belt.
if it is not going into gear then you could have a broken shift fork.
