I have a 2006 Honda Foreman 500. Since January I have put 3 pistons in it. I just had the cylinder bored and an oversized piston put in because the last piston scored due to what I believe was overheating. When I took it apart this time the piston is scored and the cylinder of course. It only ran for 5 minutes and scored. It was getting oil, the cylinder was fine, it didn't overheat, the oil was fresh. The rod doesn't appear to be bent either. Anyone have any idea why it keeps doing this?

did you relace the wrist pin bearing? have you checked the crank bearing?

also check the rod bearing.

and lastly check the bore make sure they didn't go a little too large.
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!
