Hi 2 all,

Can any one help me out with an electrical problem.

I had the problem that my batery did not charge. So after charging it a couple of times myself it still not charged on the atv.
I changed the batery for a new one and got a bad smell from the front of the atv
It wont start and wont do anything.....
I unpluged the batery ...someone told me teh blackbox is gone...?
Or is it inside the flighwheel transistor..?
short breakage...?

Help me out please?

Thank you in advance...

Sometimes you need to put a new battery in to do a proper charging system test. Charge the battery fully and using a digital multimeter, check the voltage. Should be 12.5 or slightly hgher. If its over 15 volts the battery is pooched. Install the battery and start the engine. Voltage should be 13.5 to 14.9 volts. You may need to rev the motor a bit to get things going. If the voltage doesnt change with engine running then you need to replace the voltage regulator. Also check all the fuses if the bike has any.
