just wanted to see if anybody hunts on here...i see there not to many people post in the hunting section.. iam from GA and wanted to say hello...

Yes Alabama and Florida, archery opens October 15th. My Bruin is sitting in my shop waiting on timing chain parts to come in. Hope that fixes it.  

yeah man i hunt in sc towar charleston but have a racing 4wheeler.  

anybody done any hog hunting here in GA yet? i went 2 times on the WMA around here and didnot see any hogs but show aome sign..  

I hunt, mostly ducks, in AL & MS.  I'm getting back into deer hunting this year after about nearly 25 years since my last deer hunt.  I still prefer a day in a pit blind or just waist deep in a cypress break over a day in a stand or shooting house.  

goose hunting has been open for a few weeks and im loving it up here. cant wait til the 3rd, i have been counting the ducks. come october, they die!

I'm a hunter from missouri,love bow hunting for deer and turkey.  

there is a place up north that produces a boar bait that may help you. I have read it is quite awesome at attracting bear and hogs in. I will see if I cannot locate their web address if you are interested. My brother and I have been thinking about heading that way to do some hog hunting ourselves.
I have read that hogs are difficult to hunt though - more so then deer. They have an incredible sense of smell that one must overcome.  

I hunted this past weekend. I only seen two young deer around 50lbs. each within bow range. I let them walk on. I'm going back later this week.  

I'm in Oklahoma.
Mainly deer hunt - all 3 seasons - bow, muzzleloader and rifle.
Spring Turkey with a shotgun, love calling them in.
Been doing a little dove hunting this month - kinda my "gettin pumped for deer bow" thing, which starts Oct. 1
Usually go out at least a few times for quail and pheasant during December and January with buddies.
So yeah - hunting season is finally here  
Oh and TJ - yes hogs are tough to hunt, at least here.
May be easier where they can run dogs on them - dunno
I've been a few times and i'm convinced they have better survival instincts than deer.
I've deer hunted 30 years and have yet to get a hog.

Well, I finally got my first deer of this season Sunday morning. It has been a tough season so far, I seen more deer last season in bow season, than I have seen this season.
How is everyone's season going so far?
