Hello, I have a 2005 Rancher AT that is flashing a code 5. I understand this is the angle sensor that has to be preloaded at installation . Is this correct? Also will i need to erase the code from the ECM after the install? If so , how is that done? Thanks for any help !!

If u can access the code. goback and do that. once u have read the code and the problem is repaired, u press and hold both shift switches to clear. flashing will stop and "-" will appear. shut off ignition. and thats it.
