I have an 05 Rally (just purchased). I am about 185lbs, and my wife is 145 and pretty tall. This is primarily for her, and I only ride it when with my son and his polaris 90. The front suspension seems pretty weak, and I have adjusted it to its max and still would like more performance. We mostly ride trails and around the pastures. Any advise is appreciated much.
Considered rebuilds and upgrades...

shocks are very expensive to upgrade, have you tried adjusting them for your size?
the rule usually is that the shocks only allow the atv to sink 2" when you sit on it.
measure from the ground the front bumper, then sit on the atv and measure again, the measurement should be 2 inches less. do the same for the rear.

welcome always glad to help. you have to set the travel, every rider is different and we all weigh the different.
lighter needs to be set differently, as well as heavier.
i weigh 160 and even with reservoir elka shocks on mine, i still bottom out the shocks landing some jumps.

also before you go ride, take about three or four tums, i know it sounds nuts... but it helps keep lactic acid from settling in your joints while you ride.
believe me... it works!!! you will hurt less after a day of riding.
