Honda Fourtax 300 Must use Kill Switch to keep it running!

The machine starts great and then dies it can not be restarted no matter what you do with the choke or the throttle. If you let it sit for 30 plus minutes it will start and then die again.  I found by accident the only way I can restart it is to cycle the kill switch rapidly! It will then start and run for about 5 seconds then start to die if I then cycle the Kill Switch rapidly I can keep it running indefinitely. If I stop moving the Kill switch on and off (or my finger gets tired) it will start to die again. This can go on for 5-8 minutes or so until it will suddenly run fine without having to rapidly move the kill switch on and off. The machine will then run the rest of the day without a problem. I think it's not getting enough fuel to fire on every cycle and by turning the switch on and off it misses a cycle getting just enough fuel to fire again??? I have changed the fuel screen and added fresh fuel and ran some carb cleaner through it but it still is the same??? What could be the problem?

I would check the kill switch & ignition switch for a short/bad connection.
I see that you ran some carb. cleaner through it but did you clean the carb.?
