neutral light on but will not move

I have a yamaha kodiak atv that will not roll foward or backwards even though the neutral light is on....any suggestions????

parking brake? thats the only thing i could think of. unless for some reason its acting up and saying its in nuetral when its in gear, but even then if it was it would roll one direction and just not the other. also, some quads i have seen that, if the kill switch is off but the key is on it wont move. try flipping the killswitch.
