Racing

i have been into wheelers for a few years now. i was always a dirt bike guy. but im glad i was converted. i started out riding my friends honda recon. which was okay, until i started getting crazy and launching it as far as his mojave. pulling supermans on a utility over a small 20ft table top. so i stepped it up a little and invested in a suzuki lt230, as a build. before i caoul actually take it out riding hard i bought a trx 450. it is insane. i guess the reason i am posting this is, how do i get into racing with it? im not sure about regulations, or what style to race. mx, gncc... ect, the quad has a high compression piston, hotcam, full hmf exhause, works shocks and so on. its set up, lets put it that way. but what is the best way to really get into the sport. i have given up all my other hobbies in order to focus purely on my riding. i have had alot of people tell me my style and the way i handle the quad would allow me to smoke most of the competition. but i never really took it seriously until i raced a pro at a local track and walked all over him. i would love to succeed in the sport and make it a career but i dont know how. what do i need? how do i handle it, how much money does it take? i would appreciate any advice on this, or about how to get my wheeler ready and even more race ready. thanks alot!
