not getting fire to plug

I have a tao tao 110 and I'm not getting fire to the plug. It turns over good. Kill switch is on and the fuse is good. Any suggestions on what I can look for?

actually check the wire. sitck a metal screwdriver in it, makes sure it has a plastic or rubber grip, then touch the oter metal end agains the case. if it sparks the wire is good. also, check to make sure it is getting gas. the carb may just be gummed up and not letting gas through.

I didn't try with a screwdriver but I try with another plug and no fire.
