i have a 96 300 2x4. after i went through the carb and got it running agaia, when i hit the throttle it tryies to fall on its face but does not. if i feather the throttle it works fine.

i also have a simaliar problem. I'd try the mixture screw, tighten it until it seats then bring it out 2 1/8 turns. That should fix it up. Last night i was reading threw the manuals trying to figure out why my bayou sucked and i found out that a weak battery (not one that is low on charge necessarily) causes a weaker spark on these machines. So i took the seat and plastics off ant hen bungy tied a good tractor battery to the frame and used jumper cable and with only the jumper battery one and not the bad i was able to go around my house like 10 times before i ran out of gas. Try another battery especially if you haven't ridding in it a while. Good luck
