what could cause the belts to keep burning up on this bike. I burned up a new factory belt in 1 day. I am not ridding the bike hard or going deep in water. Could there be an underlineing issue causing the belt to burn up? I have checked to see if there was water in the belt but when when I took off the screw there was NO water. I only have 292 miles on this bike and have replaced the belt 3 times. Any advice would be great.

what brand bike is it? also, check to see if there is a tensioner. if the blet is burning up its because it too loose and is slipping. you want to get it tight in the cavern of the pulley.

Many thinks for advice. I hope my 08 700 does not catch on fire.  I have been told that there is a new spring I should put on because I am riding outlaws tires and that sould defently help. I hope so my last belt last less than 6 miles.
