Hello. Im new to the forum and love it. Im just getting back into the quads so this site has been very helpfull.  My brother has a 05 trx400ex and I was wondering if there are any easy mods for it?  Thanks for any help

Yeah, go boxless. Doesnt cost a thing and it ups HP like nothing else. Just run your filter, either foam or K&N style straight off the manifold. Get larger jets, get it jetted properly and it should haul ass. With that and a throttle body mod your bike will dip. If you are gonna get a pipe, stick it on and then jet it but you can do this with the stock can. Just gut the pipe. My trx450 gained almost 10hp total from ditching the stock box and having it tuned with a pipe. look into carb mods, they are expensive but you can squeeze some serious power out of your carb without bolting *** on like bore kits and cams and porting. That *** is a huge waste. You cant ride a bike with 60+ HP in anything other than a straight line, unless all you ride is glamis.
