My Brother in law bought a Polaris 750 last yr. He's 49 yrs old. He has rolled his 4 wheeler 3 times now. Now this guy is very careful he's no kinda daredevil or anything like that. I guess my question is, has anyone heard of any numbers of rollovers or anything? Maybe its just him.....just thought I'd ask.

im betting hes not leaning into the turn. in most cases on a big 4x4 if you dont lean right with the quad, even a small thing like sand, or even snow, will set it off. its most definetly not the quad.

Make and Model...I'm not sure, I just know its a big atv and I do believe its a 750 4 wheel drive.
I think its him too, but I was just wanting some of you guys opinion.

Thanks

yeah and it doesn't matter if you lean if you are just going to fast for the turn, or turn to quickly at high speeds.

just be careful inexperienced riders can get ya hurt.

Thanks...and I do believe thats the problem. But to hear him talk, its that he was going down hill and was going to turn and go back up hill and he says that the engine brake deal slowed him down but when he started to apply his had brkae to turn that it override the engine brake and sped up, thats why he flipped.
He calls it an engine brake, I don't know what the correct terminology is myself.

anyone hauling it down a hill who decides to just all the sudden turn is going to roll. no doubt about that.

I advise that he take a safety course. Sounds to as if he is tense and inexperienced. Body english is important on all ATV's. Especially on the large ute ATV's. And turning around in the middle of a steep hill, that does not sound like a wise idea to me.
