my 1993 blaster revs up from an idle when in neutral or when the clutch is pulled in

usually when the fuel/air mixture is too lean this can happen.

first place to check is the pilot jet.
if it's even a little clogged it will make it run lean. and since the pilot jet controls idle it's the best place to start.

use a wire bread tie to run through it and clean it out.

once you have done this and have the carb back on, if it persists, then try turning the fuel/air mixture screw to the left 1/4-1/2 turn.

have fun with that blaster!!! I have a 1993 model and man talk fun to ride.  i have the 240cc big bore kit and a 3mm vito's stroker crank, with a 34mm keihin pj carb. boyeson pro series carbon reeds, custom built fire breather exhaust, 1up front sprocket, 4 degree timing advance.

an absolutely awesome machine that can make some serious horsepower!!!
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!
