Broken axles 04 yamaha griz 660

Bought some new tires for the griz. gbc dirt commanders. Took it out for a wild weekend at wayne national forest and snapped the right rear axle end of first day. Bought some new Monster axles installed em went out riding and jumped a 3 foot jump at about 20mph landed and snapped both rear axles at the c.v. sheared right off. Checked the rear diff for tightness, bent, etc. install the bearings and checked for vertical travel of the swing arms all seem okay! Anyone experience anything like this or have any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
