First ATV buying, and DON'T WANT TO GET SCAMMED!!

Alright, so this thread was on another site, and was pretty long, but they are under maintenance and i really need to get this question through.

I have been on autotrader, kijiji, and buy and sell sites, and looked at atvs for countless number of hours. We are looking to spend under 5 grand, and want a bigger machine. Please do not go into a debate like my last thread, i am 15, and i have rode an outty max 800 xt, and it was fine. Also rode a honda foreman 400 and that was fine to. Enjoyed more power though.

ANYWAYS, the questions I bring to you today. I have gotten emails from a few people, and they all live in the states, or about 10 hours away from me. They would like to do the buying of the ATV THROUGH ebay's purchase protection plan, through ebay motors. Where i pay for it, but not really, and i get to see the atv for 5 days, and if i like it they money goes through, if not then i send it back, on there charge. Here is what one of the people said how it works, cause they have used it a long time:

"The sale will be managed through eBay under their Vehicle Purchase Protection program since they offer the highest rate of safety and reliability during online transactions. They act as a neutral third party. Look how this works:
1. I will contact eBay and give all the info about this deal.

This is what a few people have said. So that ATV's i am interested in buying, all the sellers want to do it through this, and they pay the shipping and handling, and we do it through ebay like stated above. Anyways, here the ATV's.

Also, anyone EVER bought anything through this? Through the protection plan? And is it reliable? I have heard some good things about it...
