my honda 250x won't start. i rode it pretty hard one day and the next morning it was running a little funny.  when you pushed the throttle it just died almost like it didn't have gas. but when you got it going it would go. the next time i tried to start it it wouldn't start. i checked the fuel screen and it was clean. anybody have any suggestions.

first are you getting spark at the plug, and second are you getting fuel to the spark plug?

I believe what wolf1 is asking is the plug wet or dry?

yes turn the engine over with the throttle held wide open for a few seconds and remove the spark plug and check the plug to see if it's wet.
