stud broke

i was recently taking off my mates exhaust to weld a new support braket on and found one of the two exhaust manifold studs had snapped of inside the head. i cant find the rest of it so it must if fallen off while he was out riding. i told him it was broken he said to fix it. i tried EZ OUT. it didnt work. any ideas?

2 potions. drill a small hole into the broken bolt, tap it, and put an automotive stud of the same thread in it, with lock tight of course, then simply us the other end of the automotive stud as your replacement stud. an automotive stud is alot like thread rod (which you could use that too.) or, just weld a bolt over the broken section, but im not sure how much of a seal you will get on the flange then. other than that all i can think of is buying a new top end for it. one that has both studs intact

its all good now. i drilled it out and rethreaded it now its fine thans alot
