My took the bowl off his carb and he said he heard somthing hit the floor, not sure what it was. Is there any loose parts that could fallout

sometimes the jets can if they have rattled loose,

also the float pivot pin can sometimes fall out with the bowl off., if that happens the floats and float valve will fall out.  
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!

Hey wolf1 thanks for the info it just happend to be one of the needles vibrated out as you had mentioned.
