I put a new fuel valve (the part where you select on, res, off) on my 99 polaris sportsman 335 and now it wont idle.  I had to replace the fuel valve due to one port that a fuel line attaches to was broke off when I bought the quad.  Now that the new one is on it wont idle but will run if i give it gas.  Also will not start unless I am thumbing the throttle as if the flow is blocked somehow.

It seemed to flow fine once I hooked the hoses up but maybe not enough?

Ideas?

Sounds like you need to turn the pilot jet out some. Try that and see if that works out for you.
