2009 800 Touring fuel tank capacity

My 09 appears to only hold 15 liters of fuel. Anyone else have one of these machines and whats your capacity? Also average fuel economy? I seem to be getting 25MPG [Imperial gallon] 2 up riding on the road at moderate speeds.

I completely drained the tank and refilled it at a gas station and it does hold the 22L its supposed to. I guess it has a very big reserve.
