help me find the year model

i got a honda fourtrax today on a trade but i dont know what year it is or what size it is.Any suggestions how i might find the info.?
I cant find anything on the frame telling me the year but im thinking it is around a 90 model and was told it was a 250 but im not sure of that either.Any help will be appreaciated

Is there a plate on the front with etched #'s, on the frame between the front tires?

I seen your reply on my Fourtrax thread.
I have a Fourtrax 125 and a Fourtrax 250 both made in 87. The serial #'s were stamped on the center portion of the frame under the front fender.

I'm sure someone knows but not me. I had to call the nearest Honda ATV dealership with the VIN to find out what year mine was.
