I know this forum is dedicated to Gorilla Axles but I came across an online petition that a guy from Oklahoma has started to make ATVs street legal in the US.

Here is the link if you wish to sign the petition:

I know stock ATVs might be dangerous to ride on the open road but I am sure great companies like Gorilla, Xtreme Products, or HighLifter would come up with a conversion kit that would make your ATV street worthy. This could open up a whole new market. ATV industry can use something new in these tough economic times and with CPSC banning the sale of youth ATVs this would maybe help the industry.

In Europe and in some states in the US people have the ability to make their ATVs street legal much in the same we can make dirt bikes street legal here in the US. Quads when made street legal or if you would purchase a street worthy quad go under the classifications of Quadricycles. There are already manufactures making or in the process of making road worthy quads such as the Revolver concept from Polaris, Bourget’s Shredder F-80, the Quadrazuma by Lazareth, and GG Motorrad Technik's GG Quadster.

Thank you
