I have recently installed a new tensionor, but the bottom gear on it keeps popping up and the chain falls off. I have tried loosening and tightening too tight, it does stay on longer, but eventually pops off. To loose and the nut backs off and I loose the chain! Any suggestions?

Try lock tight or a new lock nut.
