my Honda Rancher ES 350 4x4 will not shift out of gear and into nuetral, I tried rocking it back and forth like I have done before and it will not work. Is there a way to manually shift it into nuetral? or any other suggestions? thanks

There is a normal shift shaft coming out of the cases in the same spot a manual shift bike would, it has a 12mm hex head the bike would have come with the emergency wrench in the trunk or tool kit. A six point socket and breaker bar will work. If this won't shift the bike could have a few differnet problems. shift motor, angle sensor, broken shift drum...etc battery connections

sounds like the shift arm has a brokin ear or the drum shift gear is loose or broken,,, pretty simple to fix if you are mechaically inclined in any way,,, all of these are located behind the front engine case,,where the shift motor and oil lines mount and the front drive shaft comes out (spring load) pops out easy,, shift arm 50 bucks and the shift gear is 15,,,, use a 3 finger puller with a big hose clamp around the puller fingers to pull the clutch if you dont have the proper tool to do it,,also it can be done on the bike so you dont have to pull the engine,,,,for putting it back togeather be sure to stand the bike up on its back rack so you can put the 3 ball clutch release back without it falling off,,you will see when you get into it,,, or use some real thick grease to hold it on,,, hope this helps
