PLEASE HELP WITH MY '05 RECON 250

We are new to the ATV owner situation. It will turn over, but not crank. We've replaced the engine coil and even placed the battery off my Rancher on the Recon. I tried the brake lights, they do work correctly. What can I do to fix this problem?
ANY help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Cranking to me means that when you hit the start switch it turns over.
Is the bike cranking while the starter is engaged?
If so then it is a spark problem or fuel.
You need to verify these things to get some more help.

I believe that I had the same problem, took it to the dealer and they advised that the fuel must be drained every 1-2 months if the machine is not used. Wery easy to do but this is the only Honda machine that I have ever had to do this with. I have a Foreman 450 and can let the fuel sit for 18 months and it fires up immedietely.
Our new problem with the Recon 250 is no electrical power appears to work so that machine will not start and it has about 10 hours of total use. I think that this particualr machine is a lemon.
