You need four components to get a spark: stator, CDI, coil and spark plug.
Start with the stator.  For a quick check, disconnect the stator wiring harness and measure the the resistance between the blue/white wire and a good ground.  Should measure 150 ohms or so.  While you have the harness disconnected, measure the AC voltage across the blue/white wire and ground while cranking the starter motor.  Should be between 0.2 to 0.5 VAC.
The yellow and white wires are for battery charging. The resistance should measure 1 to 2 ohms between these wires. While cranking the engine with the starter motor the voltage should be 9.5 VAC minimum.
If you don't get these values the stator is bad.
If the stator checks out and you've replaced the CDI and assuming your spark plug is new (or good) then the coil is bad.

disconnect the remote, then check what hungrymother told you.
