I have an Suzuki LT80 (2001) that is seldom started.  The last couple of times it was ridden, my boys had to run with the choke open, also it smoked like a tractor even after it was warmed up.  I clean the carb for crytalized gas.  Did I miss something in the carb. Also, should I flush out the injector oil?

I have the same issue with a 2000 lt-80. It will start fine with the choke on, but if you push the choke down it engine will cut off. My thoughts are it's an air/fuel ratio problem, but where do you change the settings on the carburetor. The main jet is on the second notch, do I need to change the position.

Thanks,
Tony

check the pilot jet to see if it is clogged,  the fuel/air ixture screw is on the side of the carburetor.
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!
