I am going to buy 3 Chinese quads one for myself and one each for my son's 6 & 7 years old. I am looking at the JETMOTO 400CC ATV 4x4 HUNTER MODEL for myself and 110cc to 125cc for my kids Jetmoto / Alpine Kid Atvs Utility 125cc ATV. I can't afford the honda's or repairing bad ATV all the time. I am hoping someone can direct me to the right ATV.

Hello,

Can I just make an experienced suggestion. If you end up buying a Chinese ATV, chances are that you will spend a ton of time and money repairing. The proof is all through our forums here. My suggestion is to buy namebrand quads that are slightly used. Being that the economy is in the state it is, there are tons of great deals out there. Stick with Honda, Polaris, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Arctic Cat, Can-Am, Kymco and Suzuki. And even if you pay a little more up front, it will more than likely save you tons in the long run. I really hope this helps. Try looking on www.craigslist.com or in your Cycle Trader. I think it would help you a ton going this route.

Thanks,

completely agree, spend the extra money now for name brands, more reliability, also better resale later, chinese quads have 0 resale.  take you time and keep looking on graigslist for a deal on a name brand.  but if you insist on Chinese brand, theirs only one dealer to buy from  and that's racewayatv.com, they are the only Chinese dealer that will completely honor the warranty

In 2006 I purchased 3 chinese ATV's. I started making repairs on them the first weekend we took them out. I sold one and am in the process of repairing another to sell in the future. I have since purchased a new 07 Honda and an 05 polaris (Craigslist). I agree with the other replies, I would search any of the classifieds and purchase a Honda, polaris, suzuki, Kymco, etc.

I agree 100% with what was said. Get cash start searching used there are a ton of great used machines out there. I did the same thing for my kids example of recent deals:

For me: 03 Polaris sportsman 500HO with 165mi! plow, unused 2500lb warn winch, unused polaris chains, optional front and rear bumpers and all paper work including Polaris service manual.asking 4000.00 I got for 3500.00 like brand new.

For my daughter: 05 Honda crf 150f sat in shed for two years mint original owner. asking 1600.00 I took it home for 1200.00

For my son: 05 Polaris predator 500 special edition troy lee package including remote reservoir clicker shocks all around ,fornt and rear bumpers, nerf bars, bark busters ,arm brush guards mint low hours asking 3300 I took it home for 2500.00
Also got him an 03 arctic Cat f5 snowmobile w/485mi mint asking 3900 I paid 2600.00!
We all got great used brand name reliable machines that will still hold some resale value.
I was shocked at how many people buy these toys have nowhere to ride them so they tow them around to places get sick of that and sell them.

Used is the way to go but buyer beware know what your looking for there is also alot of so called "mint" junk out there. good luck Pete
