Well,
I wont get into much detail about what happened yet, but I want to ask your opinions of how often you hear of these running out of oil in the rear end and frying the final drive unit?

Also, wondering where I might be able to find a replacement or should I just buy a new bike, everything else works great.

Had it parked on a concrete floor with ZERO evidence of leakage.

You have a seal on the front of the final drive, one on each side of the case, gasket that seals the case and a tube on the top (most likely a breather). I would fill again and clean all of these area so that you can identify the leak. The oil has to be leaking in one of those areas.
