Hello, Many electrical problems may be due to excessive heat or vibration. Check to see if your CDI and coil are close to a heat source. You may also want to build a heat sink such as a small aluminum plate and place it under the CDI/coil. also use a little electrical compound (I forgot what it's called),but it is a white cream and is available at Radio Shack or any electronics store. This makes for better heat dissipation. Place the cream between the unit and plate. Good luck

Hello, It sounds like your enrichment circuit. In your carburetor you have a small pump that squirts a small stream of gas into your manifold when you open your throttle. This may be plugged. Take off your carb and open your throttle. If you don't get a small quirt/stream of gas then that's the problem. It may be plugged, linkaqe disconnected, torn diaphram, or frozen check ball. It should be relatively easy to fix. good luck.
