I have an 02 Honda Foreman ES and got it in some water yesterday. The display began blinking while it was in second gear and the ATV would not then shift out of second gear. I brought it home and parked it and was able to get it back into neutral. A short time later, I went back outside got back on it, started it up and rode a short distance before it would not shift again. I shut it down, got it back into neutral again and began riding again. I got it all the way into 5th gear, however when I stopped, I couldn't get it out of 5th gear and now it will not come out of 5th gear, therefore I can get it restarted because of the electric shift. Anyone with advice?

sounds like you shorted out the display and shift switches.
try drying out the inside of the display
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!
