I have an 05 predator and the front chain cover has broken off taking the two nubs from the motor case with it. Anyone have any ideas on how reattach this short of a full motor case replacement? There are about two or three treads left in one of the holes I though of maybe longer bolts? Im sure this has to be a somewhat common problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I would try two part exposy and build them back up. Then drill and tap new holes or exposy a stud into the case and screw down with a nut

Is two part epoxy that strong? It looks like the guy before me used jb weld(if I remember is a two part epoxy) with compete failure. What epoxy would you suggest? Again thank you for your advice.

I used pC7, it comes in lillte cans(one blue and one white). I am not to sure if it will work in your application, but it is about $8. Is the broken piece a threaded boss? If it is I would build it up as big as possible and let it set over night. Then you can file or grind to fit, then drill and tap. When I used it it got hard as rock. PC7 is available at most hardware stores. I believe there is two types PC7 is for marine and it is white. The other is black just as good.
