How do you get the fly wheel off?
I found a lot of magnetic parts in the cover today when the starter would not turn the fly wheel.
Will parts form a 99 and 2001 inter change?
Also were is a GOOD cheap place to get these?
Can anyone HELP!!!!!!!!! Thanks atcgmctruck@yahoo.com

You need a 3 bolt puller that will apply alot of pressure. Bolts are metric 10mm? when pressure is applied "tap" the flywheel with a heavy plastic hammer. Since your is already spent, you can use a regular hammer.
Check bikebandit.com for part schematics and compare the part numbers to see if parts can be interchanged.
Ebay can get you some deals but be prepared to wait to win.
good Luck

also check with rjatv.com John has some really good prices and fast shipping.
the flywheels can be hard to get off the polaris, in the past i have even had to heat them with a propane torch (you can get one at the local hardware store) to get them off, just be sure not to heat the crank, just the flyheel around where the crank goes through.
i have seen alot of the polaris flywheels with the magnets broken in them. hopefully the magnet shards didn't get into the stator.
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!
