I posted about a month ago with this problem of my atv running rough under load.  Starts good and idles good and under light acceleration runs OK. Just when you accelerate heavily does it start to bog out.  And it is intermittent.  Started a couple of years ago and now it is to the point that it hardly ever runs well.  My neighbour has the same machine (runs well with no problems) and we have systematically changed  over all his parts to mine and have not eliminated the problem.  I am referring to the coil, the carb. the regulator and the cdi. Need some ideas as to what to check next.  This has got us baffled.  The grounds looks good.  The machine only has about 750 easy miles on it.  Thanks for your help.  Leon

I will have another look at that.  We did check the fuel flow (gravity on the disconnected line and it was good).  I didn't mention that we changed the plugs as well.  Leon

found the problem.  It is the reverse limiter switch that is acting up.  I found that when I pushed it in for a couple of seconds while it was acting up it ran fine.  Just have to fiqure out how to fix it now.   Hope this will help anybody else that may run into the same problem.  leon
