I have a 2005 KVF 360 that I had serviced about a month ago. During the service they replaced the belt as the light was on. Ever since I brought it home it has been squealing. It only squeals when in forward or reverse at a stop. As soon as I apply the gas the squeal stops. When I called back they told me that is was common for the CVT transmissions to do this and that it would go away. Does this sound ok to everyone else? I would rather not take it back as I am about two hours from the nearest dealership.

Give it a few hours of riding, it should go away.  The noise can be caused by the new belt rubbing against the used part of the pulleys.  Or from some light dirt and dust when it was installed.  If it doesn't go away after 10 + hours or riding I would call the dealership again.
