I ran through a mud puddle about 1ft deep and when i got out, the 4wheeler shut off and will not start when the fuel switch is in the "on" position. It will satrt however when i switch it over to pri. It seems like theres not enough fuel getting into the carb. but i dont know?

sounds like you may have gotten some water in the fuel tank and or carburetor.

try removing the carburetor and cleaning it out.

there is a carb cleaning 101 posted under atv riding on this site.
