I just recently joined this forum and i was wondering what kind of mods i should put on my trx250x. All i have is nerfs and k and n. Iwas thinkin elka shocks but their expensive as hell, but i do need them very badly cuz every time i hit a jump i bottom out.

the shocks will go a long way toward having more fun with less hurt.
however check to see if the 300ex and 400ex shocks will work on it. they will cheaper than the elka's and better than the 250 shocks.

The only thing is i would rather spend my money towards elka's than spending my money on 400ex shocks and a arms. But your idea would work as a good extended a arm kit.
What kind of quad do u ride?

I ride a 1998 Yamaha Blaster with a 240 big bore kit, a 3mm stroker crank, timing advanced 4 degree's, boyeson pro series dual stage carbon reeds, mikuni flat slide 34mm carb.
The elka's will definately be worth the money.
just make sure you get the ones with the reservoir and line, and not the reservoir piggybacked on the shock (made on the shock) this will allow more options for shocks and mounting.
