hey, new to this forum.  the wife & i are considering purchasing new yamahas.  i'm looking at a 2008 grizzly 700 auto without p/s at $6200, and a new 2009 550 for my wife.  is that a good deal on a 2008?  also,  i think that my wife would enjoy the power steering for the reduced fatique factor & she definitely wants the automatic shift, so do you think this 550 with p/s & auto shift would be a good model for her.  i'm new to this, but we had a pair of '93 timberwolves (fantastic machines) & i am very impressed with yamaha products.  we've looked at the honda rancher & polaris, but keep coming back to the yamaha.  please give any input on my upcoming decision.

yes i think those would work well for what you are wanting and want to do with them.

although honda makes a good atv as well.

yamaha 4 recalls since 1999 and none of them current.
honda 7 recalls since 1999 none of them current.
polaris 16 recalls since 1999 and some of them on current models.

i'd stick with yamaha or honda.
Keep it RUBBER SIDE DOWN!!
