ok here we go i got a 06 bruin 2 wd 4 stroke that i only use during hunting season. i let it sit with gas in it for about 6 months.   when i went to start it up for deer season it wouldnt so i pulled gas tank off and drained put fresh in. it started with choke on but when it warmed and i turned choke off it would die. also was back firing alot .  then i pulled carb off and cleaned it. got it to run with choke off but muffler right at head is glowing red hot. and still popping a lil. pulled carb back off and cleaned bout the best i could and the exhaust is still glowing red but idles alot better. still pops a lil when you rev it and its coming down. from what i have read it sounds like im running to rich and some of the gas is burning in the muffler. how can i fix this ? and how do you adjust the carb? or make adjustments to it? could there be something else to make it back fire ao is/was it just trash in carb? any help would be greatly appreciated as i am lost and will have to wait several months b4 i can take it in to dealer to get chaged a arm and a leg to fix. i know now not to leave gas in it so please dont mention that. it is currently hunting season here and i would love to get back to it. i can adjust the idle spring/ screw and that dont seam to help alot? HELP PLEASE!!! thank you and happy ridding oh could it be something in my exhaust i got alot of dirt dobbers in my shed and was wondering bout that although it has good exhaust coming out of it
