I have a 2000 polaris sportsman 500 The last time i rode it seemed like everything broke first the belt broke no big deal put a new one one the I went to start it. It would crank but no spark pulled the recoil and it started right up. the the cluctch would not disengage. when u crank it in gear it rolls forward. the the recoil broke. Talk about a bad day. This is what i have done so far. I put a new battery in,new start switch,new coil. still no spark with the starter. belt checked ghe belt it is the right one. I think i have to ajust the center distance between the drive clutch and the clutch. well now i broke the spring on the recoil please someone have any ideas????
